If You Stumble, Make it Part of The Dance
Have you ever heard of the practice of filtering your thoughts the same way you filter your inbox?
Giving yourself permission to flag, delete, file as junk, save for later, etc. Applying this practice into my life has been life altering. I’ve begun to shift my focus on an energetic level just by choosing to take ownership of my thoughts. Through my thirty day meditation practice with Unplug Meditation, this was a necessary tool to have in my toolkit along the journey.
A few of you already know I moved this summer. It has been a slow and long drawn out process. Finally a month and a half later we are feeling settled in. This month we started a garden out on our back porch, and today I gardened. Planted new herbs, and flowers; a mint plant that is just the perfect amount of overwhelming. I haven’t felt this rooted in years.
As it turns out this yogi does have a little bit of a green thumb.
Honestly, I apologize for the radio silence. But I am beginning to trust it was needed. Through the silence, I found my role model. Through the darkness, there is once again light in my life. The weight of sadness is passing with the seasons and I cannot be more excited for all that is to come.
For the first time since starting this company, I have vision again. I have an immense amount of guidance as I have dedicated this blog to a higher project. Working with the Elite Blog Academy, I will embark this next year on bringing you high quality content.
Less rambles, more focus. A direction and unification of all that’s happening with Yogi inspired across all platforms. It will be game changing. I invite you all along for the ride. There is more than enough wealth, love, prosperity, peace, in the world to go round. I’m about to embark on what yogi inspired means to its readers. I’m about to change the world.
Yoga is now. I love this fact in Yoga’s philosophies because it affirms abundance, lightness, and trust. It offers a perspective that there is no difference between the you and them; one pose or another; whether you are right on track or lost your way come back to now. Be in this moment for what it is rather than what you expected. Be willing to be willing to step up for the adventure - even when your scared inside.
Moving forward, Pinterest is going to be the biggest platform of catching monthly yogi content themes. We’ll be blogging and expanding on quotes, ideas, and so much more. You will definitely find us on all platforms but if you’re craving content to stroll and dive into on those nights where life and thoughts keep you up at night - we have got your back! This blog will slow to a biweekly posting; leaning on all our social media accounts means that you will get more content from us!
I cannot wait to share this journey of how social media incorporated into our blog strategy is changing things - but that’s a topic for another day.
We are now.
All we have is now.
So what are you reading? watching on tv? Saying to your partner? Speaking about your boss? What are you digesting? What are you absorbing from your routine, inner child, highest self, diet, friends, family, work? There are so many strings that are pulling you up. Sometimes those strings get broken, how do you respond?
Can you step outside the situation, visualize it like an inbox and take a way what’s important and leave out what is not? Actually say out loud, is this serving me or is it not?
When we begin to stumble, life so frankly reminds us of who is in charge. Source energy steps in and games start to change.
Being a yogi entails believing in a higher version of yourself. But there are no directions on how to start or even get there in that visualization.
Start with what parts of you you desire to keep, then release what truly is unaligned with your souls journey. Acknowledge in your life where you: stumble, are anxious, resisting unintentionally.
Examine and break down what you fear the most, see if you can turn the situation around. What if all fear was a lie? Where did the root of this fear come from? What would happen if you simply, adjusted, and made it part of the dance?
You are meant to learn certain lessons in this lifetime. When you take responsibility of your own success, you are choosing the highest vibration of yourself. The you that is willing to do it scared anyway, to create the moment anyway.
Everyone else is sitting back judging how you are going to judge them anyway - why not leave that part of you out of the equation? Responsible actions open your up to the broad spectrum of possibilities of what those lessons are; magic happens when you take action!
If there is something holding you back, slow down and listen. Stop for a moment to acknowledge how far you’ve come, where you desire to go, and what you will have to leave behind to get there. Yoga happens now -- it is actively a practice where we move to create space in a place we were once stuck.
Remeber, a rocket is only on course for THREE percent of the ride.
When fear has you in that headlock, and all you can feel is the stumble - breathe, improvise, believe, adjust, and keep looking up!
